Omerta is what happens when you combine a man with an absolute passion for good craft beer, a friendly and non-pretentious location in Kazimierz and a strange obsession with mafia movies. The name (Omerta is Italian for 'code of silence') and the odd framed still from The Godfather scattered about really have nothing to do with what the place does, which is serve the best Polish craft beers, plus a fair selection of beers from further afield. Their two bars serve an incredible array of those tasty and diverse Polish brews taking over the nation (on tap and bottled) and of course all the foreign beers, old and new, popular and niche. The selection on tap changes frequently, and the staff are knowledgeable and happy to help anyone venturing into the captivating world of Polish craft beers for the first time. For this reason, Omerta has totally established itself as an iconic locale for Krakow's beer lovers.
