The largest and most central of Krakow's crop of craft beer pubs, House of Beer rapidly established itself as a favourite with visitors and locals. Run by true beer aficionados, the pub concentrates on Polish brews, but also carries a huge range of beers from elsewhere in Central Europe, and the world. The wall of bottled beers behind the bar is a trove of infinite delights and there are always half a dozen hand-picked examples on tap. Downstairs is another bar (with more beers on tap) and a roomy cellar to accommodate the inevitable overflow from upstairs.
