Editor's review
Built in 1913 in Kazimierz, in ul. Wawrzynca, the building of Stara Zajezdnia was first an actual tram depot. After WW II, the building fell into disrepair, as the tram depot moved to Podgorze. Finally, in 2012 Stara Zajezdnia got a new life and was transformed into a restaurant and a small brewery. The place is worth visiting not only because of delicious food and craft beer, but also because of the unique architecture and timber framed walls, a rarity in Krakow. The restaurant offers Polish cuisine with a hint of modernity. Thanks to a great acoustics and vast area of the building, Stara Zajezdnia is also used as a location for many concerts and cultural events.
