There is no doubt that Poles are vodka specialists, yet when it comes to beer, Poland yields the palm to the Czech Republic. And the Czech-style pub U Jozina in Wielopole St. is the best proof of that theory. The pub is open round the clock, so grab a pint whenever you want; at U Jozina you will find a large selection of beer, both tapped and bottled. The place’s décor is on the traditional side; the simple wooden furniture and walls covered with newspaper clippings make it a bit retro. During the day the pub is a great place to chill out and talk over a pint. At night, from Thursday to Saturday, the pub organizes dance parties in the basement level, known as “Domovki u Jozina." A night out with friends? Come with a bigger group and get a discount. The low prices make the place even more homy.
