With a backdrop of crumbling ancient frescos and organically curved archways, you’ll feel like you’ve just walked into a synagogue of sound. This is because you have just walked into a synagogue of sound. How they got it past the Rabbi, we have no idea, but let’s not ask too many questions ‘cause such beautiful architecture lines create eleeectric energy. We’re looking at various local & international DJ styles (Electronic/Jungle/Breakcore/Funk/Tropical/etc.), depending on who’s hitting the decks that night.
Hevre have recently added a kitchen to their list of draws (famous for their excellent cocktail bar and freshhhh Czech beer on tap), serving up a full menu of unique nods to Krakow/Kazimierz culture with a snacks menu including such rarities Jewish caviar, beef heart pate and tounge pastrami for the adventurous but also some more easily palatable local Polish cheeses, sausages & fried pickles.
Main courses are equally as interesting and riding that local vibe with old-style village favourites such as kopytka, challah & porkchop alongside modern global pleasers such as hummus, steak or club sandwich & a burger.
Hevre also serve a breakfast menu with standard dishes made with really good quality local ingredients and loads of flair.
