Editor's review
The oldest pub in Cracow cools its guest with air-conditioning in summer, and warms them up with grzaniec (mulled wine) in winter. Those with a more sophisticated palate are catered for with Draught Guiness, available throughout the year. The double-floor pub is welcoming and comfortable, with a long bar and stool, cosy sofas and intimate tables for two. On Fridays and Saturdays dance music brings the second floor to life, while on Wednesdays there's plenty of upbeat live music to cheer you up.

Good old 'Shakeys' as I call it. Everytime I come to Krakow I always start the night with a drink in Shakesbeers. It's the kind of bar I'd like to have as my local in England. Friendly, relaxed and a perfect arrangement of seats for a group of friends or simply a cosy chat for 2 people.
