Friends Coffee joins the ever-growing assembly of hotspots that seems to be creeping up Karmelicka Street. This contemporary-styled place looks very uncracovian - it's the kind of spot you'd expect to find in London. But unlike those transient places, this cafe has actually secured a loyal following. Friends is packed with student hipsters and flirty young professionals. The coffee is good, likewise the cakes, and there's plenty of eye-candy too, so don't be put off by the cheesy name.

great place for coffee - but has now been taken over by mamma mia pizza from next door - no problem though since you can still get a great cup of coffee in the exact same place... just with some pizzas and pastas on offer as well!
