Great food & cocktails, live music almost every night and sometimes for free.. this place is iconic though so get in early if you want a good seat for the band... sometimes they give you a free shot too!

I do not recommend this to no one. The bartenders are alright although the beer is awful. But the most outrageous was the security. Or 'security' i should call this bunch of hillbillies. Girls can count on a butt-grab along with a nasty comment. It was the first and the last time there for me and me friends, for whom I was unfortunate to book a table for.
Have been to Harris 3 times in few days.Very nice staff and a good atmosphere with good music. Late november 2012
I've been to HPJB a few times and always enjoyed it, the bar staff were friendly, the music was often superb. Can't wait to go back soon.
This was the most interesting, fun and friendliest place in Krakow. The musicians were great, talented, exciting, young and old. If i had a reason to go to Poland again, it would be to visit this place!
Visited Krakow last week saw that Easyjet recommended the Harreis piano bar, found it just by chance had a really good time, great atmosphere reasonable priced drinks staff friendly not really into jazz but great backgound music, definately worth a visit.
This place is one of the best bars i have visited in my life. My partner and I visited this place by chance after being given a flyer late last December whilst visiting Krakow. The entrance charge is minimal in return for the fantastic music we had the chance of listening to. The blues band were amazingly talented and we still talk about that night to this day. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, with rustic seating and the drinks are good value (well 2 years ago they were), and we had a brilliant evening. CDs are availiable to order at the bar of the acts that perform. It was brilliant to get close and have a chance to listen to and meet such talented Polish artists. Doskonałe!
I don't know what the last comment is all about, this is one of the best places I've been to. Ok so not all the music is to everyone taste but I though it was perfect. Maybe I just got a good night but I still think it's worth a try!
!!!!Worst place in Krakow!!!!! Drinks were very slow to come, virtually no alcohol in the cocktails. On top of that, did not wanted to accept credit cards. After paying, impossible to get a proper receipt! Please avoid this place at all cost!
Excelent place to seat with the beer. A few different style of rooms so everybody find something good. Price are cheap and big choice of beer and alcohol. Recommended
I'm a frequent visitor to Krakow and I've been to HPJB a number of times. Lately I've gone on a Monday night when it seems to be a free-entry jam session with a core of local musicians but with people from anywhere in the world just turning up to play. I've enjoyed listening to some fantastic music on these occasions. I don't know if Monday night is still free; I'm off to Krakow this weekend so I'll be heading for this bar again in the hope it is. As for the drinks, I stick to the local beer which I don't remember being overly expensive compared to other places; but it is definitely more economical to have a large one as there seems little difference in price between large and small if I remember rightly. The only negative from my visits to the club was one time when I went on another night and there was no sign on the door to say there would be a charge and there was no-one downstairs waiting to take money; but when we had bought our drinks and had seated ourselves we were approached and asked to pay. As we had only intended to stay for 20 minutes we declined and finished our drinks quickly before leaving. Overall though I think it's definitely worth a try.
Visited this place with my wife and friend on Sunday 21st of December. Drinks prices were inflated because we were tourists, we were asked to pay PLN 15.00 to get in to see the Jazz band, only to find that not only was the entrance fee PLN 10.00, but when we got in there was a Goralska band playing ( Polish Mountain Band )wouldn't have minded so much but this was the worst Goralska band I have ever seen. I suppose after visiting Zakopane and seeing real Goralska bands in action, I may be a little critical. If you are a Tourist, be sure to be ripped off at this bar, unless you send a friend who is Polish to order the drinks. OH and the service wasn;t too great either. Been to many cities in Poland and visited many bars, would not rate this bar and certainly would not venture there again.
Piec Art is hard to find place, but worth it. If you're looking for jazz club this is it - but you have to pick your night because concerts are just a couple a week
Bylam w tym klubie w ubieglym tygodniu. Super wystroj i muzyka. Niestety - okropna obsluga. Takeigo chamstwa dawno nie spotkalam, ten barman zachowywal sie tak jakby to byl jego lokal i z laska sprzedawal mi piwo!!! Skandaliczne zachowanie. Dlatego wystawie note 1/5.
Elle, you mut have just come across a bad barman... We had such a good time there, last week... the staff was ok, the music was great and I loved the way the place looked. Priceless!!!
Great music, great surroundings, shame about the staff! This is the only place in Krakow where me and my partner had problems with the service! Very slow, and more than that a total rip off! My partner went to the bar and ordered two mojitos! He came back with them and they were lovely, so much so that we thought we would get two more, so this time i went to the bar and got two mojitos - with no alcohol in them whatsoever! Of course they charged me full price for them, and when i told them there was no alcohol in them they shouted something at me in polish and just walked away! Of course when my partner went to the bar things were different. They had the decency to speak to him in English, but still made us pay for the shots that they had quite obviously, and on purpose, forgot to put in our drinks! Of course we left after that and did not return, and most liekly never will. Be careful if you r a tourist becasue they will just see you coming and completely take advantage!

The bar looked great and the drinks were very nice. Jazz was good too. However, service quite slow and the lock on the women's toilets is a little dodgey!!!!!!!!!
Great place on Wednesdays (times vary so check beforehand) to see some great jazz for an incredible price. Nice to sip some beer and just let it all wash over you.
Just went in to ask about new years eve..... If you like pompus, wannabe intellectual, ageing student staff then this place is for you. The service has to compliment the venue. Sack the sad bearded haggered student barman. A shame as the venue looks incredible. Hence we did'nt go back.
Great cellar bar, Jazz and food excellent, great service and must to visit when in Krakow and we will be there again sometime in the future.
always a good stop. enjoy jazz the way it's supposed to be! nice and intimate. i almost always meet friends or people who become friends here. a regular stop for me - highly recommend it.
Really classy place, a must for all the jazz fans... Relax while listening to never-ageing jazz classics or listen to the stars of modern jazz... Real nice and not crowded. Go and enjoy. :)
