The atmospheric St. Anne's Street offers a cornucopia of culinary treats. And Farinella doesn't let the side down. A breath of fresh air in Cracow (which has a surfeit of folksy restaurants) Farinella goes for a more urbane approach. The smooth elegance of the interior is finished with a winning dash of fantasy in the leafy gold print behind the bar. And the food itself also has plenty to win you over. The focus is on fish, with a leaning towards Spanish/ Mediterranean dishes. There's plenty to choose from, and if you're after a break from Polish fare, Farninella could be just the ticket.

We eat here on a fairly regular basis with other expats, this place has excellent fish, tapas, a great atmosphere and delicious wine. Everything we have tried here was great!
Ended up eating here twice on our recent trip to Krakow. Service was warm and friendly. The restaurant had a relaxed and informal feel - the perfect place for a relaxing meal and a good chat over food and wine. The food itself was extremely well cooked and tasty. There were some great fish dishes as well as a range of meat dishes. My husband loved his mussell and the sweet chicken liver salad was wonderful. We found the food here great and much lighter than the traditional Polish cuisine. The restaurant represents excellent value and the great house red wine was amazingly value. We will definately be heading back on our next visit to Krakow.
