Editor's review
Trattoria Campana comes from the same team that created Miod i Malina and Wesele - two runaway hits on Cracow's dining scene. And it looks like they've struck gold for a third time with this, their latest offering. Trattoria is tucked away right at the foot of the Royal Castle on one of Cracow's prettiest streets. In winter the cosy interior will transport you to the land of Leonardo, and in summer, one of the city's most delightful gardens comes into play. As you'd expect from this team, gastronomic standards are high, with choice cuts sourced from discerning Italian sources. All in all, this restaurant looks set to be a winner.

We arrived at 5 pm. The staff were busy doing other things. Tables weren't set.
We ordered and the food started arriving followed shortly by napkins.
The food was great but as we were finishing there was a lot of table re-arrangements making our conversation difficult.
I don't expect that sort slackness given the prices charged.
Don't expect the place to look like the web page photos! The interior is very stark and the chairs uncomfortable.
We had the most delightful anniversary dinner out in the courtyard. Our servers were wonderful, the food was delicious, the live music was very pleasant and the price was right. We are going back for another anniversary this year!
Excellent food and service. Only given 4 stars as food could have been warmer and my rosti was soggy not crisp!
Dekkfabrikanten ? ?
A real find in Krakow! Having tried a lot of the restaurants near the Market Square, it was good to find food of such quality nearer the castle. Friendly staff made us most welcome. Food delicious.
We were there on a sunny and hot august-day. All the tables with shadow in the beautiful garden were taken, but we still chose to sit down. And thanks for that! What a nice experience! Lovely cold roséwine and great food. Spagetti with herbs is a simple dish, but oh so receommendable! My friends said the salad was great too. Friendly waiters. Excellent place which we definitely will visit again next time in Krakow!
Very nice all around. The popular risotto was a 30-minute wait, though, so we chose other dishes. All was tasty and service was grand.
We dined here two consecutive evenings middle September. The garden with the candles and the quiteness make it a very nice place and like the rest of Krakow is very good value for money.
Lovely restaurant with beautiful garden. The food here is excellent. We ate here at lunchtime and it was fantastic!
We are sitting in the garden, late september lunchtime. Location is amazing and the food is great. A small child is chasing a red squirrel. Just the best place for a lunch.
Was a little shocked to see that the old cobbles had been replaced in the garden. But undeniably, this is still a beautiful spot. But was it really so necessary to remove those cobbles?
