This new addition to Krakow's dining scene specializes in the cuisine of the Levant region, including Greece, Turkey, Cyprus, Isreal and Lebanon among others. The area's most famous culinary export are mezze which are appetizer-sized dishes, similar to Spanish tapas. Just as with tapas, the size of the dishes means you can customize your stay from a quick snack to a leisurely dinner. If you've been craving a bit of baba ghanoush or hummus, head straight to Mezze Bar & Restaurant.

A great find as our daughter is vegan with a wheat allergy. They could not have been more helpful.Every meal, vegan and regular, was good quality, well presented and very affordable. We all highly recommend it. Late Sept 2009
I went to Mezze and was definitely not impressed with the food in terms of dish quality/extravagance/plate size to price ratio.
I love food from the region, and have become a big fan of Samira in Warsaw - a shop/restaurant which I visit whenever I can. So I was exited when Mezze replaced the Brazilian Ipanema at this location
I was delighted with the service, one of rare such instances in Krakow. But food was very ordinary. You are better buying houmous and baba ghanoush by weight at Samira (not canned ones), than try them at Mezze. The mezze platter mostly had cold mezzes, with a very tough chorizo. Most of it was all very flavourless. The main course had a decent lamp kebab, but other dishes that my friends had were disappointing as well.
Well, I would give it 8/10 on service, but 3/10 on food.
