The people at Samui, Krakow's first Thai restaurant, live by the belief that Thai food is more than just a meal- it is a culinary experience. Here you can taste authentic dishes prepared by master chefs from Thailand, served according to Thai culinary tradition. Choose from over 90 options in Samui's extensive menu including Pad Thai, chicken in honey sauce, fried ginger shrimps, and pork green curry. The cosy, Asian-themed interior and friendly service (dressed in traditional Thai costume) round off the unique atmosphere at Samui.

Samui has moved to a new spot on Wilsna 10 just down from the Rynek. Decor is still a work in progress (one can only hope) but the dishes were delicious. As with most Thai, you'll pay a bit more than other types of food in Krakow, but was reasonable even then. Waitress was kind and helpful, too (despite being forced to wear some ridiculous outfit). If they can fix the lighting in the lower area and some of the ambiance issues throughout, they could become a regular spot. But Samui deserves good marks on the food. Oh, and we all loved the banana cocktails!
