A comfortably upscale coffeehouse for students, young adults, and their families, Sweet Surrender Cafe serves a broad range of espresso-based drinks, non-alcoholic juices and sodas, not to mention a choice of two ethically-sourced coffees and four brewing methods, every day.
Although under American ownership, staff speak both Polish and English, and can serve your choice from a light lunch and dinner menu, as well as a selection of delicious, homemade American-style pastries and desserts.
Sweet Surrender has free wi-fi for customers, and hosts a variety of live concerts, art exhibitions and other cultural events - while its comfy couches and overstuffed armchairs make perfect vantage points from which to enjoy the entertainment.
Open Tuesday to Thursday (noon to 8pm), and Fridays and Saturdays (10am to 10pm).

Where to start?! Sweet Surrender is cozy and comfy, warm and welcoming. The staff is fast and friendly. The food is outrageously delicious. I would become a regular at this quaint coffee shop if I didn't live some 6,000 miles away.
Sweet Surrender is a great place to relax, enjoy good company, and an amazing menu!!! There is nothing like this place in Poland (accept for maybe its other branch in Poznań).
The decor is eclectic, artistic, modern, and relaxing. The staff is very friendly and they are excellent baristas. The menu is exciting and different changing each season. You have to try the cheesecake when you go!!!!
It is a great place to go alone to study or read a book. You can go with friends to have a chat and relax. I have even seen people conduct business meetings while I was there.
My trips to Krakow are not complete if I do not at least make one visit to Sweet Surrender. If you go, tell the Brian send you. I am sure they will smile and welcome you with open arms :)
I Loved it! The atmosphere is very much like home. And all of the staff are very friendly. The coffee is great! Very comparable to places in Copenhagen! The vegan chocolate chip cookies taste delicious. Every time I visit Krakow this is a place I will return too.
Really love this place. Great coffee, comfy, home from home and really friendly staff as well.
Loved the coffee shop great food, friendly staff and lovely comfy decor. Can't wait for my next visit :-)
One of my favorite places in Krakow. Laid back, cozy, super friendly, great coffee and cakes, and passionate people running it. What more can one ask for? Go visit and see for yourself!
