At Studio Qulinarne the elegance and tradition of the past meet the style and vitality of the present, a fact reflected both in its location, right on the edge of the upcoming Podgorze district, and in its menu.
The style is industrial chic, perfectly suited to Qulinarne's previous incarnation, when it housed buses that can still be seen in the nearby Engineering Museum. Now, the nineteenth century decor breathes authenticity to the contemporary menu, which takes the best of the old world and reimagines them especially for the new.

This place gets my vote for the best restaurant in Krakow. I've tried a lot of them recently and this one (in my opinion) is the best of the lot. Good to see it is also at the top of the lists on this site - thoroughly well deserved!
Definitely worth making the trip to Kazimierz to eat here. I have been a few times for special occasions and the food has always been fantastic. It is also good to get away from the tourist traps on the Market Square. Happy to recommend.
I was here just before Christmas, and boy, what a find! I have visited a lot of traditional 'Polish' type restaurants in Krakow, but had not expected to find such a place of quality in Kazimierz! This restaurant could easily be in New York or Sydney - it feels contemporary and fresh, with quality cuisine to match. The interior is quite formal, but the service is relaxed and friendly. Great for a special meal!
