This modern and trendy restaurant has a large variety of classic dishes from many different Asian cuisines including Indian, Thai, Japanesse and Vietnamese. Yellow Dog's spicy and flavoursome dishes are great for hot summer days, as they help you cool down in the sweltering heat. Most of their dishes contain meat, however there are a few vegetarian options to chose from. Yellow Dog's green tea cheese cake is a must try. The interior is spacious and light and the decor minimalistic, making the experience very pleasant. It isn't the cheapest of restaurants, as prices start at 20zł, however all their dishes are jam packed with high quality ingredients giving them the perfect kick.

Very hit and miss. Have had a great meals, and also pretty poor ones. Perhaps they have a good cook and a bad one? Consistently expensive though.
Just tried it out. Works out at about 35 PLN per head for a main course plus drink. We had The Tikka Masala, which was probably the best of the lot, a duck with udon noodles (good but could be a bigger portion) and the 'runner's meal' which was also made of udon noodles. Overall OK, though service was not very attentive, with the one waiter standing outside on his cellphone most of the time. The place was also almost empty which was not a good sign. Would I go back? Hmmm, not convinced yet. Might try once more, but if the meals were pitched around the 20 PLN mark rather than closer to the 30 PLN mark, I am sure they would have a lot more customers. Also, charging 8 PLN for a cup of tea is exorbitant.
We've had some really good meals here, but I have to agree with the other reviewers that it is not that cheap, and seems to have become less good value over the last couple of years. But it makes a welcome change from Polish food... I give it 4 stars.
With your first visit at Yellow dog there's a huge risk that it is the only place you are going to dine when staying in Cracow. Forget traditional menus, splendid silver services, delicious buffets - Yellow Dog beats it all, and it's highly addictive! The owners will probably come up to your table to talk about what you like and how it's going to be served or just to explain how the exiotic ingidients are being planted in their own eco-garden. Although the menu was almost excellent ( thai soups, organic greens, green-tea cheesecake), they recently decided to change the list of dishes. And managed to overcome the previous list of meals with - maybe not just better ones - simply more creative, e.g. tail meat or tomato-coconut soup, asian salad with home-grown greens, curry prawns, asparagus with...popcorn! Green tea cheescake stayed, praise the Lord!
very good selection of asian food, good curry and absolutely the best "sernik " made with green tea !
If you're looking for a real and good asian food - go there. They change menu from time to time so it's always something new to try.
