Inoffensive decor, unique flavour compositions, and most of all - a well trained chef/owner. This is what makes Pod Norenami quite an interesting place that shuns mediocrity and aims to prove that vegetarian food is far from boring. The restaurant serves a selection of Chinese and Vietnamese dishes and soups, as well as sushi or even pizza, always according to best vegetarian/vegan practise. The restaurant's infallible catch is serving mock meat dishes, and this is what makes Pod Norenami a perfect place for a mixed company of meat-eaters and meat-shunners. Good value for money, too.

A message from Pod Norenami
At Pod Norenami, we do not settle for mediocrity. We use the traditional recipes and practices of Asian cuisine, and hold strictly to the priniciples of vegetarianism – along with those dishes from the vegan kitchen, which are marked on our menu. We attach great importance to the quality and origin of the ingredients used in our cuisine.
Our peaceful interior, blending the historic structure of the building and with photographs showing the charm of Japan from more than a century ago, is combined with fixtures and fittings designed by us following the principles of repurposing, breathing new life into used objects.
Our smiling and attentive waiting staff are always at your service.

A VERY interesting place. I was shocked to find that what I was eating wasn't chicken although it tasted like chicken. The menu is filled with dishes from Afghanistan to Japan!
My favourite place in Krakow, great organic and fresh food, feast for vegetarians, love it,eating here almost everyday
Pleasantly surprised by the non-meat "chicken" - it was actually quite tasty. Portions could have been a bit bigger - it doesn't cost much to add a bit more rice to the plate, does it ?
Been there this weekend with my hubby for a romantic dinner and it was all AWESOME! We had sushi for a starter and then "chicken" & "beef" courses. My man liked it very much, though he was a bit sceptical at first. First rate place and the prices are reasonable too! Definitely recommended!
I was invited there just after they opened the place and I must say I can't wait until next time. I'm a carnivore and I fell in love with their vege version of "chicken" and "beef". Tasty! Good service, prices OK, hope they'll keep it this way for a long time.
