The times of cheap 'watering holes' are over in Poland now, but their spirit lives on, since alcohol and tapas continue as life's basic-but-essentials to some. Maly Sledz (The Little Herring) is Kazimierz-seated younger brother of that haven for bar flies in 8/10 Stolarska St - Ambasada Sledzia (The Herring Embassy). And since the Lil' H. takes the family resemblance, be sure that cheap beer, endless vodka, and Polish style bar snacks are there too... The unquestionable king of the joint is herring, in all shapes, sizes and flavours. One more good thing is that Maly Sledz is open until long hours of the night, and that makes the spot perfect for after parties.
