Hurrah! Freshly-prepared organic produce comes to Cracow in this fun restaurant in Kazimierz. Momo makes a big play of the fact they do not use meat, fish, eggs, canned or chemically prepared food - and definitely no microwaves! There is a wide range of food from all over the world, including Tibetan dumplings and Southern India pancakes, stuffed with herbed potatoes, and served with sambar and spicy peanut sauce. Good coffee too, in a decent sized mug, at only 3.50 zloty. Opens from 11 am. Dogs and cats welcome!

A truly amazing place with a relaxed vibe. Serves great food at great prices and has a great selection of vegan salads and cakes.
It's a good (probably best in Krakow) , decent place for veggie food. Yet I can agree that it can vary enormously in service. Worth a shot , cause food is fresh, cooked daily, not reheated which is very important to me. Try the pancakes with spinach , tofu and nut sauce - delicious. Cakes are always top notch.
I ate here yesterday. Food ok, nothing special, but service appalling. After waiting for over half an hour, whilst everyone else got served, I complained and asked where my dosa was. Another 10 mins and I asked for my money back. It finally arrived. There was no explanation, no apology, just excuses. Left a note for the manager saying how disappointed I was, but doubt they were given it. I even asked 3 times to see the chef to ask why they forgot to make my meal - I can only assume this is what went wrong - but he wouldn't face me. Had pudding at cafe Mlynek later - far nicer experience! Shame, as had hoped for much better from Momo.
Me and my friend loved this relaxed and friendly place with fantastic healthy food so much that we went there for dinner 3 nights in a row, definitely a place to recommend! We loved it!
There's something comforting about this place, the kind of place that you come back to again and again (even though I'm not a veggie)
Nice little veggie stop on the edge of the Kazimierz district. Definitely your home from home if you're a veggie in the area. Generally this is a very cool part of town - I recommemd to all fellow backpackers!
Momo is the best out of the veggie cafes in Krakow. The food is delicious, staff friendly and helpful. Delicious hot food selection and salads, fresh juices and vegan and veggie cakes.
really tasty food :) I tried masala dosa with nut sauce and carrot cake. yummie :) and that curry smell in the air :)
Very very good. Love the food, love the price. A lot of vegan options, tasty vegan cakes, organic, alright! I'll be back.
Its a place ok to lunch but not fantastic : the place have nothing special and stand in a very big/noisy street and the food is good but not very rafined.
Still ok for a lunch if you're in the area.
Excellent! Great food, nice atmosphere. The only downside is that the portions are fairly modest in size so I had to order seconds. But at those prices and that kind of selection, I was happy to do so. My favourite vegan Krakow food place.
I was really impressed with the range of food they had on offer here! As a vegetarian visiting Krakow for the first time I was expecting to go hungry, but not the case with Momo. Portions are large and deffinately great value for money. Although the carrot juice isn't something I would reccomend!
Yeh was good, but i was very disappointed by the lack of meat available. I was really looking forward to a bit of Polish Sausage.
I'm told momo is something of an iconic institution among Krakow vegetarians. I'm also led to believe it has won awards. I've eaten there a few times now. An enormous amount of choice for vegans. A fair chunk of the main courses are based on dishes served with vegan pancakes. Personally though I prefer the daal samber as the best dish. Nice relaxed atmo, very pleasant staff, bargain prices like all the veg*n places in Krakow seem to be. They take the ingredients to their food very seriously; very pro vegan, very pro organic. Just a few minutes walk outside the old town on the way to the increasingly popular cultural quarter of Kazimierz.
This was our favourite find , the food here is fresh and wholesome, simply delicous, you don't need to be veggie to enjoy this wonderful food.
I must rate this the best of Cracow's vegetarian eating places if only because I was served with a pot (yes a pot!) of real tea rather than a teabag beside a cup of lukewarm water. Good, wholesome food at realistic prices.
I agree with everything below, and wish they'd stay open later than 8.p.m. All upright citizens of Cracow that I have spoken to share this view... Come on chaps why not give it a go!
best vegetarian place in cracow - and all food is vegan. Unfortunately momo closes at 8pm.
And if you want to taste the best meals like tibetan dumplings you even have to come in the afternoon, otherwise there wont be anything left...
Being a vegetarian I was delighted to discover this place. The menu is superb with a fantastic range of snacks and meals. I had an excellent spinach and pancakes snack with a herbal tea as recommended by a member of staff. I get the impression this is a very ethical place which pleases me. Wonderful toilet by the way!
If you are looking for a break from hearty food, this is definitely the place to go. here you will find healthy tasty meals at a decent price.
This place is great. A bit more expensive than other vegetarian bars in Krakow but the quality is excellent. The sambar soup is a must! Although some bloopers still happen - there used to be once a sort of a tofu pudding which proved much too sour. Unless you're vegan (and even if you are, you'll still find some good stuff to eat there) try the spinach pancakes with yoghurt sauce.
Great salads too.
