Since Krakow has got plenty of eateries in the city centre and outside of it, there is definitely a lot of options to choose from. Surely one interesting spot is Aquarius, a restaurant located on a barge, at the very foot of Wawel castle. Whether you're out on a romantic date, or just passing by on a family walk, Aquarius offers quiet and laid-back atmosphere along with a breathtaking view of Krakow's majestic royal hill. But even the demanding palates won't leave Aquarius disillusioned. The restaurants' specialty is fish and frutti di mare, but their chef is not turning his back on local cuisine too. And after a meal you can enjoy an half-hour or an hour-long boat cruise around Krakow's waters, sipping wine and delighting with the sights. Special cruises are held on weekends, a water trip to Tyniec's 11th century monastery, one of the oldest sights in the area of Krakow. The floating restaurant is also a great place to host both family and business get-togethers.
