This little, off-the-beaten-track eatery is run by a duo of female chefs, Arunothai, a Thai, and Julia, a Pole. Their pride are ingredients brought over straight from Bangkok, and authentic Thai streetfood dishes. The place itself is rather small (actually, getting a seat without reservation equals a miracle), with an open kitchen, and always friendly, and smiling (though slow at times) service. The menu is short, just a few main courses, and even fewer starters and desserts, and each order is preceded by a complimentary bowl of bullion. All in all, a kaleidoscope of exotic flavours and smells, and somewhat of a little culinary revelation.

Never having been to Thailand myself I can't really judge how "genuine" this food is. But frankly, it doesn't matter. I am happy as an amateur with what they serve: it's full of flavour, filling, and never boring. The mango juice is absolutely ace. The staff make you feel welcome, they seem naturally friendly (unlike all those forced smiles in other places). Elsewhere you can read that the prices are a little high. For Bronowice, yes, surely. But definitely not for what you get on your plate. I can't wait til the next time I can go there!
