Ok, before we start, let's get one thing clear: Ed Red is all about meat. And not just any meat; it comes from Limousine cows, reared in the mountain area of southern Poland. Ed Red is so far the only place in Poland serving dry-matured steaks in their own meat maturing cabinet, hence the very process is strictly controlled on the spot. And if you add to it the person of Adam Chrzastowski, one of the best, if not the best chef in Krakow, all carnivores may expect their visit to this restaurant to turn into a genuine treat. The menu also includes some gourmet offal dishes, a selection of fine Polish cheeses, and niche beers. The interior leans towards industrial, but it's quite cozy due to sofas and soft light, with an open kitchen, so you can watch the chef at work. All in all - worth stepping in.

A bit hit-and-miss. Have had excellent ribeye steaks and also some forgettable meals. I really want to like this place, so I do keep going back, but please make it easier for me to love you! Some consistency would be great!
We tried it a few times, and found it a bit variable. The lunch was the best option, and much better value than the suppers.
Have been here 3 times, and agree the steaks are really good, but sometimes the service is quite slow..... still, I will be back !
Excellent food here. Had the ribeye steak and it was to die for. Love the knife they give you to eat it - big enough for Crocodile Dundee. The whole place is a great addition to the Krakow restaurant scene - for too long we've been saying 'where do I get a good steak?'. The wait is over.
I would love to visit Ed Red, Chef Adam and Grzegorz came to Italy after they bought our Dry Aging Cabinet (Maturmeat™) for training on the unit and dry aging in general, i had no idea how famous Chef Adam is but he is a fabulous story telling we had a great time hosting them both.
