Pies Pianista is French-inspired venue just by the Stary Kleparz market. It has already been called a “mecca” of the French living in Kraków. Eating here one can hardly believe to be in the middle of Kraków, in Poland. You may think the food is straight from Bretagne. The venue specializes in two types of French pancakes: galettes, the savoury ones are made with buckwheat flour (gluten-free!) and crepes, the sweet ones made with wheat flour. The former can go with egg, ham, veggies, salmon, creme fraiche and avariety of French cheeses. The latter can be filled with jam, honey, Nutella, bananas and topped with yummy home-made salted caramel, almonds, coconut and lemon juice. If you’ve ever been to France, rest assured that this will revive all your best memories! Apart from various pancakes, Pies Pianista serves also specialty coffee blends by Karma Coffee Roasters.
