Samarkand is a quite new spot on Krakow restaurant map , but it has already gained a big circle of fans. There are plenty of reasons why you should pop in. First of all, we dare say that this is one of few, if not the only, venue in Krakow that serves authentic Central Asian cuisine. The highlight of the menu are mutton dishes, thick soups and a great variety of traditional Uzbek dumplings. The good news for herbivores is that most of dishes are available in vegetarian versions, hence Samarkand is a suitable place for a company with mixed preference. And how about a free cup of green tea as a welcome starter? If not, try Uzbek wine and beer, or just sit down to play traditional Central Asian board games with a friend. On Dajwor St. in the Kazimierz you’ll get a genuine Uzbek experience.
