Imagine a huge jacket potato filled with a smooth potato puree with garlic butter, cheese and you’ll get Pan Kumpir (Mr Kumpir). A crisp skin and a fluffy interior- that sounds divine, doesn’t it? The venue offers at least ten kinds of this legendary Turkish dish. From plain one, through rich chilli con carne or tuna and sweetcorn versions, to cottage cheese with cream and spring onion. Choose from the menu or compose your own one! When you think - kumpir, you should also think- kefir. Believe or not, this kind of buttermilk was made for jacket potato. Good news for all night owls- the venue is open from Monday to Thursday from 12 p.m. to 4 a.m. and 24 hours on weekends. A portion at Pan Kumpir equals half a kilo of potatoes plus as much of yummy stuffing. It’s a street food for all tastes!
