Surely, there are people who identify food served in Plac Nowy (the heart of Kazimierz district) only with the zapiekanka toast… No offence, but this is awfully out-of-date. Meat & Go sneaked into the famous round building of the former meat market to shake things up, and it worked! The idea is simple: Meat & Go offers two types of sandwiches. The first one, called Pekefleisch, is German-inspired salt beef served on a rye bread layered with mustard, horseradish sauce and topped with pickles. Another one, Porchetta is an Italian-inspired pork sandwich with demi-glaze, caramelized onions, rocket lettuce and much more. Both sandwiches are available in two sizes, small one with 100 grams and a big one with 200 grams of meat. The crew of Meat & Go dared to call their food as “legendary taste of Kazimierz”, so meat lovers should absolutely give it a try!
