The genuine Japanese cuisine is now at hand in Krakow. The menu of Hana Sushi is well-balanced, offering not only different sizes of portions and various degrees of spiciness, but also contrasting textures and composition, e.g. delicate and creamy coconut-flavoured prawns with lemon-garlic sauce versus crispy and spicy fried squids in tempura. Hana Sushi belongs to a small restaurant chain which aims to show that eating is a ritual, not an obligation. The brand is expanding slowly, yet consequently. When feeling discouraged, one should not forget that being a part of bigger company is also a guaranty of quality and standards. The owners agree with the statement that sushi made it through over 2500 years of changes, but it faces the biggest challenge nowadays, when it’s about to take over the world. By the taste of the served dishes they proved their willingness to take up the challenge. In 2011 Hana Sushi was honoured with the Laur Konsumenta Award, which is a symbol of appreciation of a brand by the customers.
