Kurka Wodna may well have a team of alchemists on staff as they seem to have somehow managed to nail that rare and wonderful combination of style and substance. With a sense of humour to boot, their name - literally meaning 'water hen' - is, rather surprisingly, a phrase used by the Polish as kind of sweetened version of a curse. High ceilings, romantic lighting and funky furniture adorn the dignified medieval architecture of Kurka Wodna. With the kind of peaceful courtyard where even their namesake might quite happily spend an afternoon, the delightful atmosphere of this historic setting is hard to ignore. If you’re wondering now about the crucial question of flavour - well, it quite matches the design of the restaurant itself. With charmingly presented re-imaginings of well known Polish foods such as soups, pork chops & pierogi - these traditional recipes have come a long way from grandma’s house and clearly experienced some of the wonders of the world along the way.

Elegancka restauracja w zacisznym miejscu i wyszukana kuchnia na najwyższym poziomie. Miło jest się tu spotkać nie tylko w rodzinnym gronie przy niejednym kieliszku węgrzyna.
