Located at the top of the Acadamy of Music building in Stare Miasto, Restauracja U Romana serve daily traditional Polish specialities along with most of the stuff you'd find on a milk bar menu (including the prices!). This is good hearty, home-made local fare prepared by those who do it best. However, be careful not to drop your peirogi as from this height, it might end up doing some damage. The view from this affordable gem is absolutely second to none - you certainly won't find it in a milk bar. 360 degrees of Krakow's old town lies beneath your wandering gaze. Perfect as a lazy luncheon look out.
