The word 'fine dining' is certainly appropriate when describing Bottiglieria 1881. Their long legacy of food preparation laid bare in the very title of their restaurant; if they have the same chefs working there now that they did in 1881, then you can easily imagine the gourmet precision which would come with so many years of practice. Well, if they aren't vampires then we are sure that they have at least passed down their high standards to their proteges, because theses are some divine dishes.

An extensively delicious and expertly conducted wine list is also available, in case you didn't guess that from the name as well.

Dining is definitely on the pricey side, with their choice of starters priced at around 38zl, soups at 25zl and main courses around the 70zl mark but a dinner here should be treated as a special experience, rather than a Sunday night at the pub.

Bottiglieria 1881, tucked into a side street of picturesque Kazimierz town square, Plac Wolnica, exudes a rare atmosphere of simplicity, elegance and class, not often found in our modern world.
