Cosy is a word that you could apply to Cracow full stop, and this snug little vegetarian bar certainly fits the bill. You'll find it on a quiet corner just east of St. Mary's church, and it's a reliable base in Cracow's weird and wonderful vegetarian galaxy. Try one of their tasty pancakes, or perhaps an enchilada (much of the menu has a Mexican slant). As is often the case in Cracow, Green Day also doubles up as a cafe, and its mezzanine level makes for a good place have a chinwag. Open from 11 a.m.

This whole thing about Green Way not paying it's workers is just a scam. A black-marketing scheme by the competition, someone dosent like the fact that healthy food seems to catch on in Poland. I talked about this whole thing with people working in GW and they say it's all a lie, and someone is paying good money for spreading this lying ludicrous propaganda about GW.
Dont be a fool, dont belive those black pr lies about GW.
GW is a responsible and reliable company witch treats it's workers with respect and pays well and on time.
very good and cheap food, pleasant and kind staff, it's pity that there is not a franchising in Italy..I would like to open it!
Boycott Greenway! This company treats its employees unfairly. Read more: http://libcom.org/news/green-way-vegetarian-restaurant-doesnt-pay-workers-10022010
We gave up after the third time of trying to order only to be told they had run out (at 7pm). Too much like a student union cafe.
Similar to Bar Vega only without the pleasant service and ambience. Good, central location and the food is good and cheap.
Vegans be wary of the sauces. When my meal had a dairy-based garlic sauce poured all over it (without warning), the staff were quick to tell me "it was too late" when it had already been paid for. Extremely unhelpful and their attitude certainly put me off of returning. Both Momo and Vega are much better.
execllent food at excellent prices. really varied choice of polish and other international cuisine. small place but has a friendly feel to it. will definitely go back next i'm in krakow
Visited for 1st time on 12-6-07. 2 adults, one child ate and drank well for less than 20 zloty. The lentil soup, fresh carrot juice and kabob were excellent. I am not a vegetarian so I don't know how this measures up for the pros, but I felt that the fast service, good food and decent prices were well worth the time. Definitely a casual, denim-friendly sort of place. Do take the signs seriously, however, and watch out for the pickpockets!
We were there on 12/04/07.
Small cafe type place but really nice and cheap.
Extra seating upstairs and a really busy place. Food is served within minutes
Well worth a visit.
Great location close to St Mary's. Very cheap prices and a good selection of veggie cusinine. Easy to get a table. Only downsides were they ran out of popular dishes well before closing and surly service.
Delicious vegeterian dishes( Polish and international) in an informal setting.
Great place to go with kids. And very reasonable prices. Friendly and busy staff at the counter. Also huge take away sandwiches.
Very close to the market square and with a good selection of dishes. We enjoyed the enchiladas.
