Da Pietro was the first Italian restaurant to open up on the Market Square back in 1992. The 14th century cellar of the Hetman House provides the setting, as suddenly you leave modern Krakow behind and step into Renaissance Italy. Of course, modern conveniences like air-conditioning and friendly service have not been forgotten. Over the years, Da Pietro's menu has been adjusted many times to satisfy the needs of their guests and the whims of their chefs, while the wine list has expanded to include one of the finest selections in town.

We have been to Da Pietro many many times, the food has always been fabulous, delicious and tasty, the staff are most welcoming, either winter or summer and the place itself is fantastic. We go back again and again because it is always so good x
Today at Da Pietro (Da Bona), I was served salmon pasta and there was little salmon but lots of large bones. I complained and the Manager was sarcastic and tried telling me that its normal ... its not normal for other amazing restaurants as Miod Malina in Krakow.
One of the best Italian Restaurant I've ever been to! Excellent food, excellent service - simply the best!!! I'll be back one day! We were 6 people in our group, and we all enjoyed our visit!!!
terrible service bad ceascer sallad tasted like fish ( thats not the point). And the vatiress, was so dippreassed. asked for id just to be mean..
the worst resturant experience i´ve ever head.
The last thing I expected to find in Cracow was great Italian food, but I found it here. The atmosphere, location and service were all top rate. And so romantic!
Like everything on the Rynek Glowny, expect to pay a little more. In the summer, grab a seat outside and order the pizza al diavolo. Service can be a little sluggish during the lunch hour.
The food was amazing, excellent service, nice and fresh produce. Couldnt recommend this place enough
Having now had two bad service experience, this is not a restaurant we would recommend if you want to eat outside. Service is slow and inattentive, staff literally look the other way. You have to go and find them just to get served or even pay the bill! A shame as the food is not bad. If you do not mind waiting a long time, for food to arrive and then find when you chase that they forgot to put the order in, then give it a go. Patience is very much needed!
A great Italian restaurant on the market square of Krakow. A really nice location, and they have an outside area on the square during the summer! The cellar part to the restaurant is really nice too, with one of the best atmospheres in Krakow. When I was there, the staff were really friendly and helpful. Worth a visit if you're in town!
