Located a stone's throw from the Market Square, Polskie Jadlo on Tomasza Street is another incarnation of the popular Polish restaurant chain. The interior retains the character and style of traditional Cracovian streets and gardens, whilst the cuisine represents the best of traditional Polish cooking, with everything from pierogi (dumplings) to meat and fish dishes.

We popped into the restaurant for lunch on our last day and we wished we had found it sooner. The meal was excellent and the staff very friendly and helpful. I had the 3 types of dumplings as a starter and then the stuffed pork and my wife had the 3 types of pate and then the Bigos. All the dishes were cooked to perfection and the dumplings and pate done in ways we had never tried before. Highly recommended.
Quaint underground setting. Very quick service, large portions and interesting dishes. try the 'polish & neighbouring lands' meal if you're hungry !
A superb restaurant with a carefully selected menu cooked to a suprising standard. Top ingredients and well balanced flavours, a generally friendly and helpful staff, good price and massive portions. My best meal in Poland to date, well done this place!
(I wasn't a fan of the pork fat on bread to start but it's free so I guess you can't complain)
