Kolanko No.6 is one of those Cracow specialities - a place that is almost impossible to define - is it a cafe? a pub? a place for light meals? All the rule books are thrown out of the window in this cosy and cheerful den, where you can enjoy a beer one minute, and order a delicious meal the next. Hungry guests can kick off with a tasty soup such as onion or broccoli and garlic, and then there's a royal range of delicious pancakes to choose from, with everything from Mexican to chocolate options. One thing definitely worth recommending is Kolanko's rich breakfast buffet offer, with cold and hot foods. Their menu includes a selection of world cuisine samples, such as Greek musaka, Spanish paella, Moroccan tagine, Indonesian satay and more. And while munching, you'll find plenty of good chill-out music drifting from the speakers, with blues, jazz and ethnic beats in abundance. Kolanko No. 6 is also somewhat of a cultural hub, so make sure to check if there's any exhibition, concert, film screening, or a meeting with a traveller coming up, in order not to miss it. And if you really want, you can enjoy it all while sitting in an old dentist's chair - pure Kazimierz.

Fajne miejsce - można to i dobrze zjeść i miło pogadać przy piwie ze znajomymi. Atutem w lecie jest też ogródek. Polecam!
Great place! Gorgeous buffet breakfast, nice drinks. Good music and atmosphere. Beautiful garden.
The atmosphere and decor of this place is quite nice, the food is ok, but service has progressively become so bad that I feel the need to write this review. This was a place I used to frequent once a week for a quick coffee, occasional lunch. Last night I went to kolonko and ordered a milkshake which turned out to be warm, flavored milk. After one sip, I told the waiter that I didn't want it and to take it away. When the bill arrived, I was still charged for the 'milkshake' so I reminded him that I returned it (glass full) and that I shouldn't be charged. He proceeded to argue with me, that as i ordered it i must be charged, even if i sent it back immediately. It was some of the worst customer service I've experience. He refused to get a manager and only after 5 minutes of arguing did he finally take the 9zl charge off the bill. In retrospect I'm not sure if his rudeness was due to his lack of knowledge in what customer service actually entails or that he noticed my friend holding my hand and his hostility comes from old fashioned polish homophobia. In any case, I will think twice before going to kolonko again and choose some the other nearby cafes where the service is friendlier.
One of my favourite places on Kazimierz. Very calm and positive atmosphere and guests. No fuss. Great crepes, toasts and drinks
Suitable for evening outing as well as for a lunch break.
This place is full of character and charm, fantastic pancakes and occasional rock concert make it my new favourite place in Kazimierz.Wonderfully friendly bar staff.
Came here on a cold and seriously wet day in March and was not disappointed. Warm and cosy atmosphere and friendly service - and the crepes are pretty good too! Try it.
Cosi, nice, relaxing atmosphere. It's a really good place to have a break, drink herbata, eat something and, why not, read or study. Only one remark: you can find better cakes in Kraków.
Lovely relaxed unusual little care/bar/restaurant. Sat at midnight reading old English magazines and drinking vodka. Definately worth a visit.
This is the kind of a place that on one hand you want to keep a secret from everyone, then again you want to recommend to everyone as well. Simply put: this is a pancake place with every filling available on this planet, from meat, veggies, pudding, fruits and chocolate (just not all mixed together). Enjoy
fantastic place that we sought out in the rain! It has a very relaxed atmosphere and serves great food - can recommend the pancakes. Also has a lovely garden out the back. Staff helpful and service is very quick. Ideal cafe/restaurant for a quick snack whilst exploring Kazimierz although I'm sure during the evening it offers the same ambience.
