Minimalist chic usually ends up being dull as dishwater. But this one pulls it off marvellously. Indeed, if all hotel restaurants had this much flair, the smaller fry would be up against it. Cul-de-Sac has managed to track down a fantastic chef to match, so all the ingredients are there. The menu offers contemporary twists on classic European fare, with a special leaning towards French and Italian dishes. In summertime, you might kick things off with a cocktail on the roof, whilst femmes fatales will enjoy making a theatrical entrance on the stairwell of the restaurant itself. One of the most distinctive restaurants to have opened up in recent months. Find Cul-de-Sac in the Grodek Hotel.

Fantastic food, great service, lovely surroundings, cannot fault it, shame we were the only diners on a Saturday night, location might be the problem, but please give it a try!!
Excellent restaurant. A good place to entertain discerning relatives. International standards of food and service. One to keep a note of!
My wife and I ate here on our second night and what a find. The background music wasn't the best we've heard - but everything else was premier league. My wife started with the seasonal vol au vent and I went for the prawns. Both delicious. For mains we had the zander and a pork dish - both excellent. There was a crowd of young Swedes celebrating a birthday but they seemed quite well behaved compared to our son's friends!
Ate here on a VERY quiet Sunday evening in February and had a really interesting chat about Poland with the waiter. Food quite ambitious and on rich side marred by my wife's creme brulee being slightly scrambled and her lamb being swathed in garlic puree!
Undoubtedly the food was excellent and at a price unavailable in the UK. The service was formal (down to white gloves worn to serve dishes) but spoilt by a 30 minute delay in taking our dessert order while the waiter chatted to other guests. We ate Winter Veg & Salmon pancake starters followed by Venison & Duck main courses. All beautifully presented. Our dessert experience marred an otherwise memorable meal.
fantastic food and frendly stuff(girl with black hair, was profesional waitress!!)rating for 5!
Spent a quiet week in Krakow 12-19 sept 06,food wise the high light was a Sunday lunch in the cul-de-sac.Superb food, superb wine, central location but away from the noise, anyone having difficulty finding the restaurant should possibly not be allowed out on their own.
