We didn't spot any one-eyed beasts in this little hideaway near the Main Market Square. The only thing that was monstrously, was the monstrously good quality of tyhe pizzas. This pizzeria sticks to the basics, and produces some of the best pizzas in the city. A genuine wood-fired stove right in the heart of the restaurant assures you get the real McCoy, and also a warm place to dine in the winter. Popular and busy, Cyklop also offers a number of other generic, Italian-inspired dishes. However, it'sd the pizzas that keep the punters coming back.

A cult pizza place indeed, has been opened for years and the standard of food is high. It can get crazy busy on Fri/Sat evening, so be ready to wait few moments for a table.
The pizza here is good but the crust is a bit too thick for my liking. I like my crust thin so you can taste the sauce and toppings instead of just eating bread with stuff on top of it. It wasn't too bad though and I feel like I'm a connoisseur of pizza in Krakow since I've been here for 3 years. This place gets a 4/5. I like the pizza here but its not the best.
Really good pizza's at cyklop, we went there twice and just as good both times. Service..nah it was ok, not the most friendly waiters.
I'm curious if Aaron from New York has eaten at the best Chicago or New York pizza joints, because Cyklop's very mediocre pizza rivals neither. The first time I ate at Cyklop, I noted how below-average the pizza was for a place touted as having 'the best pizza in Krakow'. I thought - perhaps I came on a bad night - and tried again. No improvement. The garlic chicken pizza was decidely un-garlicky, the crust is flavorless, and the rubbery cheese dries out as you're eating. In short, I don't recommend Cyklops at all.
Just came back from a 4 day break in krakow and ate in this place on 3 of the days!! very, very cheap in comparison to other places and good quality food!! pizza number 4 on the menu is very nice indeed!
The best pizza restaurant in the whole of Krakow and I have tried allot of pizza in Poland. The restaurant feels personal, you can watch the pizza being made in the stone and wood oven and not worry about the price. Pizzas are good value even for Poland and if you cant finish it all you can take it away and have a wonderful breakfast the next day.
This is the best pizza I've had in Krakow, and I'm a pizza snob. It's one of the most ubiquitous cuisines but very hard to get right, and Cyklop does it right. The wood fired ovens, the fresh ingredients, and the exquisite crust, neither too crispy or too soft, and never soggy, makes this a must-eat. Worthy of the best Chicago or new York pizza joints.
