Just came home from Poland and had to write a review for this restaurant. The food and atmosphere are amazing! Our waitress, Margaret, was very attentive. The young green beet soup was a thing of beauty. We liked our lunch so much we immediately made dinner reservations. Do not miss this gem!
This place seriously has the one of the best breakfasts in Krakow. A whole array of seriously sensational Turkish dishes with neverending bread + tea.
Been there, seen it! Enjoyed or no let's say totally LOVED it! Unique experience with so many tastes at the same time! Damn, need to go back when I'm back to Krakow

SZARA is our highlight during our annual Christmas / New Year visit to Krakow. We always begin our visit, spend with them and closing out our last day before we return to New York. we look forward all year to our meals that never seem to disappoint us. New Years Eve dinner format is unusual. most restaurants have a fixed menu / in SZARA you can order A’la Carte menu which gives a freedom to go outside to experience the crowd celebrating new years on the square. It is very fun to watch and be part of people (total strangers) wishing happy new year like they have been your friend for years. Going back to Szara - The service is very friendly & accommodating special requests. Over the years on our visit to SZARA they start to feel like family. We are very picky about our food and where we dine. Since, as wrote above we looking forward to out meals and Szara every year is a proof that this place is highly recommended by us. Try and you will be not disappointed

Each time I visit Krakow, I return to Szara Restaurant. This is not only because of the polite and efficient service, but also as the quality of the food has never disappointed. Great place to sit outside & people watch with a cool glass of beer in the summer and perfect in the winter for feeling cosy & warming yourself up with their fine European menu. I can also recommend Szara as a perfectly charming place in which to consume your breakfast as you prepare your mind for the day ahead. I hope to return again promptly. Five Stars from me.

Ate lunch here with my BF a few weeks ago in the goooorgeous garden. SO peaceful & relaxing, there were actually blossom petals softly floating down from the tall trees above which was pretty magical. I had a beetroot & goats cheese salad - delish, he had spinach gnocchi which (i had a bite) was so yummy that i've promised myself to order that next time. The wine was perfect, food was perfect, garden was perfect...yep :) I've eaten here several times over the last few years and have never been dissapointed, actually. I was introduced by some British friends who were obsessed and I've never looked back. Their breakfast menu is really solid and it's such a peaceful place to start the day, in that lovely garden with the birds singing & the sunshine. So, basically, in conclusion - I love it.
Bro how can you not just love ANYTHING from New Zealand? They made flight of the conchords & they've got massive fjords High mountain tops & hobbit holes ...and delicious burgers for some reaosn in KRK - not complaining :)

Good food at great value, and with friendly staff (a big bonus in Krakow!). When the weather is good, the garden / courtyard at the back is a particularly draw.
Abbiamo cenato in quattro in questo piacevolissimo ristorante. Ottima cucina, vera italiana: moscardini e capesante come antipasto, poi spaghetti alle vongole e fettuccine con gamberoni. Per finire il gelato al forno della casa. Vino prosecco della casa. Tutto era davvero squisito e ben presentato, accompagnato da un ottimo servizio. Prezzi nella media di Cracovia, quindi assolutamente onesti. Consigliatissimo!!!

It was fantastic meal and great conversation, We were at their home for more than three hours and the time flew by. My boyfriend and I had never done something like this before, let alone knew this type of thing existed! So we were both had no idea what to expect. Our Eataway experience with Hannah and Coen turned out to be the highlight of our trip, and they've made us eager to do this every future trip where possible! Hannah superbly cooked four delicious, traditional polish courses, and even complimented them with vodka liquor! It was so refreshing to do something completely different and meet such lovely and welcoming people who let us experience authentic polish culture in their own home. It was also a great way to plan the activities for the rest of our trip, as they told us lots of places to go and see which we would have never known about otherwise. (For example Tytano! A MUST.) Can't recommend you both enough- thank you so much for a wonderful evening. (You also have a hilarious cat who provided great entertainment!)
What a fantastic experience, learning how to make traditional Indian food from Sheuli! She is a wonderful teacher, full of all kinds of information and stories, which made the day all the more fun! And then we got to eat some of what we made along with AMAZING things prepared by Sheuli earlier - absolutely the BEST Indian food ever!
What can I say that 468 5 star reviewers have not already said? Fabulous hosts, fabulous food, really great space for entertainment, great crowd of 15 or so people- it was like going to a dinner party with friends old and new. Loved it! Thank you for hosting and creating such a great ambience to allow such a flow to occur.
I had clear instructions how find Sumona’s flat and so arrived bang on time. I was greeted by Sumona, her husband and delightful daughter. The first course was a soup with chicken, lemon grass and a complex combination of spices which was delicious. We moved onto to some Bangladeshi street food which contained chickpeas among many other things. I enjoyed the flavour and texture of this. We moved onto the main course of chicken curry, dahl and pulau rice. I believe this was Sumona’s own recipe and is far superior to anything I have had before. For dessert there was lassi and a snowball pudding that was out of this world. We finished with tea which had been specially brewed with milk and spices which gave it a present flavour and creamy consistency. The conversation with Sumona and her husband was intellectual and stimulating. It was fascinating to hear about their experiences hosting meals on eataway. I have already recommended eataway and Sumona to a Polish friend who lives in Kraków. I feel that everybody would enjoy Sumona’s food and hospitality.
