Last review is a bit misleading. The Airport is still referred to as Balice when you buy a train ticket and on the train. Be careful though when you leave there is not much to do once you pass security
This is now called 'Krakow Airport im Jana Pawla II' - bit of a mouthful! The whole 'Balice' thing has been dropped. Balice is just the name of the district (suburb) where the airport is located.
