GLOSSA Polish Language School has been offering the chance to learn Polish language and experience the Polish culture in Krakow, in real life situations, since 1997. For our students, we offer access to the Polish language e-learning platform e-polish.eu - so anyone, anywhere in the world (you too!) can learn Polish at different levels.
Our courses in Krakow are based on 6 levels, providing courses from beginners up to advanced students. You can choose from a huge variety of Polish language courses including intensive, business, individual, summer school, long-term, etc. Courses start every Monday all year around. We offer a rich extra-curricular programme including visits to historic centre of Krakow and Polish cuisine workshops. We also arrange meetings with local students.
Our teachers are central to your success and that's why they are chosen very carefully. They are all university graduates with extensive teaching experience. They are also the authors of Polish language textbooks.
You will receive a warm welcome in Krakow, but if you cannot visit us and enjoy learning here, try learning Polish with us through our self-study, e-learning programme.

If you wish to learn Polish, this is the place for you
I did my first course with Glossa in Krakow in 2007 and have returned twice since then (2011) and (2013) in order to study further at the school and get to know the city. The level of personal and professional attention provided by Glossa is simply extraordinary. The school helps with accomodation, is always ready to provide advice and orientation to Krakow, and has a number of activities outside set classes to introduce the foreigner to Polish culture. The best thing is the enthusiasm and imagination of the teaching staff who never seem to tire of finding ways to smooth the path of learning. There is of course "no gain without pain" but the teachers at Glossa show there can be fun too.
I decided to stay two weeks longer because my one to one course was so good. See what the other students have committed before, come to GLOSSA and you'll learn Polish.
I did a one week intensive course at Glossa in September 2013 and really enjoyed it. The accommodation in a host family was very nice and the courses had excellent teaching. It helped me a lot to improve especially my talking skills. I can just recommend it to anyone. Thanks to all the teachers and the helpful staff. Dzeinkuje bardzo! Do zobaczenia, Jochen
My three weeks at GLOSSA have been an eye opener to me for the Polish language. Already having a basic knowledge of the language, it was a joy to broaden it with the help of passionate teachers. With a profound knowledge of the language they teach and with their pedagogical expertise, they effortlessly identify the student’s weakness and help her/him to master it. The cultural program the school provides is a nicely done supplement to the lectures. I heartily recommend the GLOSSA Polish Language School to any person who wants to learn a foreign language in the wonderful town of Cracow.
This is an extraordinary language school. Not only have all those teachers a profound professional background, they are also proficient in foreign languages themselves. That means that they know from their own experiences how it is to be a beginner, to be insecure and afraid. They listen to you and adapt to your personal style of learning. In 200 academic hours so far they have taken me from A2 to C1. (I've just come back from a weekend-trip to Warsaw where folks were very surprised that I had no "Polskie korzenie" - i.e. Polish relatives).
Apart from being excellent teachers, they are excellent organizers as well. If you are a first-timer to Kraków, you just tell them when and where you arrive and they will take it from there.
There are optional (and equally well-organized) activities in the afternoon, where you will get to see the city or do some other fun things (for beginners in English, so don't worry).
And as an additional perk you get to live in the most fascinating city in the world...
This is my 4th stay at Glossa and I have never regretted my decision. The Teachers are well-prepared and have very good knowledge in grammar. You can choose, whether you want individuel or group lessons. A school I recommand to everybody, who wants to learn polish or another language.
The time I spent in Kraków at Glossa has been some of the best weeks of my life. I learnt quite a lot in a short period, I actually liked going to school, and I met a lot of really nice people I'm still in contact with. I have never once regretted it, and I'll definitely be going back when I have time from my studies in DK.
