Nervous about having your hair cut and not being able to explain yourself in Polish? Well never fear as you're in safe hands with Monsieur David, one of the hair-cutting sensations of the Paris salons. Rest assured you won't leave here looking like a new recriuit for National military service, unless you want that look of course, what with military chic being all the rage. Jean Louis's young staff will be sure to weave that hair-cutiing magic, and you shouldn't have any problems speaking in English either.

What a great salon!! The cut was magnificent. My hair is wavy and unmanageable but the layers are superior to a regular cut. Also I love how they make you feel special and take your coat. Beautiful interiors and service.
I only went once and either you love it or you hate it. Structured, sharp assimetric cuts seem to be their thing. I had a feeling it was almost like formula based - you get shown the catalogue, and you have to choose the back, the front, the fringe. A bit strange. And sadly that approach didn't work for my curly hair. But if you have super straight and long hair, it might just work, so i give them 5 out of 10.
Just got a cut at the JLD on ul. Bracka (same company, another location in Krakow), and I'm definitely happy with the results. It's a good 25 zloty cheaper than most salons in this city of the same standard, and the hairdresser was really friendly and knew her stuff.
I love my haircut, and my color still looks great! My cut AND color correction were done at the Jean Louis David in Nice (in the Old Town area). I speak no French & my hairdresser spoke virtually no English, but with a little help from my boyfriend (he's French), all the girls in the salon pitched in with their color and style expertise, and the results were fantastic. Oddly, she used electric clippers and no scissors. Everyone in the salon made me feel so comfortable, not catty (you don't have to speak the language to tell) or snotty, like so many salons here in the US. The price was more than fair, and I just love my new style. Thanks, girls!
I recently got my hair cut in Nice, France. I have limited French and the stylist had limited English. He made every effort to get me the style I wanted. It was an amazing haircut. Now, I have to find someone here in the US to try to duplicate the cut...so far I haven't. Maybe I will have to fly to France just to get my hair done. Great job ! Thanks
