You have to hand it to those Swedes - they make brilliantly modern and well-designed furniture and housewares, and they somehow manage to price their items so that the average Joe can afford a complete living room or bedroom set. While there are only a handful of Ikea stores in Poland, Krakow has been lucky enough to have one for a few years now, making one-stop furniture and houseware shopping a breeze. The store also features an Ikea restaurant, with great Swedish food as reasonably priced as their furniture. And, if you're stuck with the children, Ikea offers a supervised playpen where you can leave the little ones while you go shopping!

I want to buy an IKEA gift card for my son to use in Kraków IKEA store as this is his closest store. Can you advise how I can do this?
I'm writing to express my disappointment about the company that you use to assemble the kitchen they made me go up and down Cracow looking for beats and pieces plus to mount the kitchen took them more then 12 hours and it was done unprofessionally. I definitely wont recommend to any of my friends here in Poland to buy a kitchen from ikea
Really poor service!
Ikea stores are great if you're staying here long-term or just end up with an unfurnished apartment that needs furnishing on the cheap. If you don't have a car (or if you're buying larger items), they offer delivery to your door, and even installation for more complicated furniture such as for the kitchen. It's great to have one of these in Krakow!
