Unique exhibits of amber tell the fascinating and beautiful story of the Baltic gold, all in one place - Krakow's Amber Museum. The place serves also as an education centre, providing visitors with interesting facts about amber, its origins, and the reason for the multitude of colours and shapes. And if you're not so sure, whether your amber jewelry or trinket is genuine, check it up at the museum's spectometer at the Amber Laboratory. The museum is also doing their best to come up with plenty of amber-centered events: exhibitions and events, and even if you're up-to-date with all the latest news, there is always a reason to drop in for a cup of coffee or shopping in the amber store. Come and see for yourself why amber is the most beautiful of all gems. Admission free from 10am to 9pm.

Gorąco polecam!! - ładne wnętrza, wspaniałe okazy i biżuteria, a co najważniejsze miły i kompetentny personel, który służy pomocą, opowiada o bursztynie i biżuterii z uśmiechem na ustach :)
Bursztyn - złoto północy, prawdziwy okaz w centrum Krakowa. Muzeum niewielkie, ale urokliwe. Przesympatyczna i kompetentna obsługa. Oprowadzanie wystawy z przewodnikiem, jak i wstęp do muzeum jest darmowy. Można też napić się pysznej kawy i zakupić nie tylko bursztynową biżuterię ale i kosmetyki, świece. Gorąco polecam!

Great museum, nice, helpful staff and beautiful exhibition. Probably the only museum in Cracow which has free admission.
Really interesting! I had my amber pendant checked with the device, and it proved genuine, luckily:) A great place to go if you're interested with buying amber jewelry, too
