Built as a Spa and rehabilitation centre in 1929, 'Lwigród' is an example of the monumental and classy interwar architecture. At its time it was the first Spa to run an operating theatre for its patients. After 90 years it is still one of Krynica's landmarks and a worthwhile place to visit. The place offers 225 beds in spacious and well equipped rooms, a fully fledged Spa, a cafe and even a ballroom. The main entrance to 'Lwigród' faces a park, and the heart of Krynica, with the promenade and all the attractions, is only 400 m away.
