Read a Book at Library Under Trees

Now in its seventh year, the Library Under Trees is a unique way to enjoy a book, magazine, graphic novel, or newspaper in one of Ljubljana's many beautiful outdoor areas. Organized by several publishing houses, books are available to lend in a variety of languages. There are even free loungers available.

You can find a relaxed spot to dig into a book at some of these leafy locations across the city: the Breg, Trnovski pristan and Petkovskovo nabrezje river embankments, Tivoli Park, Tabor Park, and Ljubljana Castle. There are a few locations outside of the city participating as well, including Polhov Gradec, Nova Gorica, and Kanal ob Soci.

Library Under Trees also organizes public readings, talks, concerts, and workshops. Open until the end of August.
