If you prefer your zoos underwater, London’s Sea Life Aquarium is the prime location for spotting anything from sea turtles to rays. The kids love it, and who can blame them, when there are robotic fish floating about and enormous tanks full of sharks. The new and improved Shark Reef Experience allows guests to step just inches away from 16 sharks on a glass walkway. It’s even possible to snorkel with the sharks! Look for the aquarium in the riverside County Hall building, just steps away from the London Eye. For a discounted ticket check the aquarium website, where an After 3PM Ticket can be booked at a 25 per cent discount from the standard price.
