London has many famous stadiums and sports venues, but Wembley is perhaps the most well known of them all. Reconstructed and re-opened in its north-west London location in 2007, the new venue is now considered the second largest stadium in Europe, capable of catering to some 100 000 sports and music fans. As the national stadium of England, Wembley is the home of the country’s national team and the FA Cup competition. In 2013, the stadium will also host the Champions League final. Of course, Wembley is also known as a musical venue with concerts from the biggest names in music regularly selling out the place.
