Offering a luxury location for a rock bottom price, Astor Quest is a functional and fun backpackers hostel open to young travellers between the ages of 18 and 35. The staff is friendly and the facilities are basic, but clean, with a variety of rooms from private twins and doubles up to 4-8 bed dorms. The atmosphere is lively and the guests are a mixed bunch, but with prices starting at around £15 a night, the Astor is pretty good value. You’ll find the Astor Quest minutes from the Bayswater and Queensway tube stations, with Hyde Park and Notting Hill within easy walking distance.
