Recently restored to its full Victorian splendour, the Princess Louise is one of the most beautiful pubs in the city. The space in the main, ground floor is divided into large booths by etched glass and wood doors surrounding the central bar. Upstairs offers a little more space during the busiest hours, though the décor isn’t nearly as impressive. Another bonus is the relatively cheap prices " a welcome relief from the more mediocre pubs in the area, which serve pints at what are often mind-bending prices. As expected with a central London pub, the Princess Louise is busiest with the post-work crowd. Arrive early for a more relaxed experience.
