These days every pub in London is eager to tack the word gastro- to its title, but places like the Harwood Arms are where food is the destination and not just a burger-flavoured afterthought. In fact, the Harwood Arms take their food so seriously that the pub was awarded a coveted Michelin star. Although the menu is ambitious, and prices are on the expensive side, the focus remains on locally sourced and wild ingredients. Plus, the Harwood Arms still feels like a local pub, and there’s even a quiz night on the first Tuesday of every month.
