Established in 1707, Fortnum & Mason has called its Piccadilly location home since day one and the feeling of history is palpable in this upmarket department store. High quality food goods are the specialty, and the store imports the best of the best from across the world, while focusing on local sources for fresh ingredients. The Fortnum & Mason luxury picnic hampers are particularly well known, and the shop even supplies the British monarchy with their top-notch food. There are also five restaurants inside Fortnum’s, the most popular being The New Diamond Jubilee Tea Salon, which was reopened by the Queen herself in 2012.
