Wizz Air Ukraine Opens New Flights

Wizz Air has opened a new connection between Luton and Lviv. The low cost airline will be flying four times per week from Luton to the "Lion City" - Lviv.

We are delighted to make Ukraine as accessible as any other European country to many millions of travellers and look forward to working closely with Wizz Air on the development of further new routes states the Luton airport marketing director - Natalie Raper.

Wizz Air owns 20 planes in hangars of 9 different airports in Central and Eastern Europe. The flights will certainly attract Ukrainians who are currently working and living in Britain, as well as tourists from both countries. Wizz Air, one of the biggest low cost airlines in Europe, plans on extending the amount of passengers carried on their planes from almost 6 million to more than 8 million passangers in 2009.
